LOOPLINE PARK

Public BBQ

Tucked away in this historic corner of Boulder, Loopline Park offers a peaceful retreat despite its modest size. The well-maintained grounds provide ample shade, making it ideal for families to spread out with barbecue lunches. The gazebo proved perfect for enjoying treats from the bakery across the street, though the unused railway sits as a missed opportunity. The playground keeps children entertained while parents relax in abundant shade. What struck me most was the park's dual nature: beautifully maintained by council standards, yet occasionally let down by visitors allergic to using bins. Clean toilet facilities and enough space for celebrations - I witnessed a delightful birthday gathering complete with rainbow cake. The adjacent museum adds historical context and excellent value.
